We regret to inform you that the MaineCulture.org website has been terminated. There is good news though; the cultural data for Maine has been incorporated into CultureCount.org: New England's Cultural Database.

CultureCount, developed by New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA), is an online data warehouse containging financial, demographic, geographic, and other related information about businesses, cultural organizations and individual artists in New England. This arts and cultural website provides arts agencies, researchers, organizations, funders, artists, policy makers and general public with a wealth of research information to support analysis, advocacy and policy development.

Listing in CultureCount

If your communities cultural database from the local discovery research self-assessment process was originally included in Maineculture.org, rest asured, your information was transferred into CultureCount.org automatically. If your information was not part of the original data in MaineCulture.org, and you would like to be included in CultureCount, we invite you to take a moment and add yourself to the online directory in CultureCount.org. All arts organizations, cultural institutions, artists and other arts and cultural related entities are invited to create an in-depth ‘profile’ on CultureCount.org.
